Trudge The Road Of Happy Destiny

Trudge The Road Of Happy Destiny

2026

Acrylic on reclaimed wood.

11.5x52”

This piece is part of my Nothing Wasted Series. In this body of work, I use salvaged wood offcuts and, often without altering their shape, I allow the natural irregularities of each scrap to guide the composition. I lean on hard-edge and trompe l’oeil to create the illusion of three-dimensional depth, blurring the boundary between physical form and painted space. This series reflects my commitment to repurposing materials, giving them new life as unconventional, playful sculptures. Each piece is an exploration of reinvention and renewal, exploring how discarded materials can be transformed into something unexpected, joyful, and full of possibility.

Triangles, Like Women, Are Strong As F*ck

Triangles, Like Women, Are Strong As F*ck

2026

Acrylic and wood relief.

18×18” / 45.72x45.72 cm

I finished this geometric wood relief on International Women’s Day and, as it happens, triangles are the strongest shape in engineering. They hold their form, distribute force, and don’t collapse under pressure. Coincidence? I think not. The title of this art piece basically wrote itself.
